HerEndo™ is a minimally invasive, vaginal swab test designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of the vaginal microbiome, including bacterial and fungal composition and associated antibiotic resistance markers in patients with symptoms suggestive of endometriosis. By leveraging qPCR and next-generation sequencing, HerEndo amplifies and analyzes a universal microbial gene target, enabling broad, species-level detection beyond the limitations of traditional targeted approaches. Imbalances in the vaginal microbiome may be associated with early-stage endometriosis, and patients identified through HerEndo can reflex to HerResolve™, a blood-based test, to help confirm the presence of disease and support more informed clinical decision-making.
